Woman having cesarean section with no morphine pain killers, only muscle relaxants and a small amount of gas to induce a light sleep. Patients call operations "nightmares" because of the pain, and because they feel incisions, instruments, and sutures, they are able to tell doctors after  the operation exactly what was done inside their bodies.
