The artist alleges for brief periods he helped empty the Birkenau gas chambers, however this scene was impossible as roof vents for injecting cyanide pellets, or large holes for expelling the deadly gas, did not exist in the below ground morgues. Also wall scrapings collected 45 years later assayed only a trace of cyanide (while know clothes de-lousing rooms assayed high cyanide).
